ARTIST: Inna Gertsberg, Canada
ARTIST STATEMENT: I love grey toned paper for drawing/painting light. It captures the highlights magically. The chilled sweaty can and a glass jar were perfect models. I started with a quick graphite sketch and then followed up with watercolour dual brush pens to create the space and the shapes. The highlights are various kinds of white markers – from acrylic to white chalk.
MEDIA: Graphite, watercolor, acrylic, white chalk
SURFACE: Nova Series – Heavyweight – 150 gsm – Gray – Medium Grain Finish
