ARTIST: Alex Cfourpo, Sweden
ARTIST STATEMENT: I like to explore in the local forests on my bicycle and I often take pictures of places that stand out to me. But somehow a picture never really captures the right atmosphere or memory. So I started drawing them instead. Mostly on the rainy days when I don’t go out with the bicycle. I use mechanical pencil for the sketch and different fountain pens and technical drawing pens for the linework.
