Morning on Ivanovskaya Gorka

ARTIST STATEMENT: This picture was drawn on the Ivanovskaya Gorka – my favorite place in Moscow. It’s one of the oldest parts of the city, located on one of the seven Moscow hills, with a lot of alleys, beautiful buildings and churches. I draw here all the time, this view is one of my favorites.

All of the line work was made on location with a pen and ink, and painted later in the studio with acrylic markers and colored pencils.
